Play Therapy Clinical Supervision
As a Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor with the Australian Play Therapists Association, Courtney is able to provide Play Therapy supervision with a special focus on Child Centered Play Therapy, Child Parent Relationship Therapy/ Filial Therapy and non directive, humanistic Play Therapy.
Courtney has deep knowledge of and experience working with children who have been traumatised by family violence, domestic abuse, coercive control and medical trauma and is well suited to supervise Play Therapists who work in these fields.

Play Therapy Consultation
Courtney is able to provide secondary Play Therapy Consultation to any professional working with children who has an interest in supporting therapeutic play.
This can be a one off consultation or an ongoing arrangement similar to clinical supervision.
Examples of Play Therapy Consultation:
– an Early Childhood Teacher seeking advice about a child’s destructive play in the preschool room.
– a day care worker who knows of a child’s trauma history or experience and wants to help them to express themselves
– a paediatric nurse wanting to help children feel calm during medical procedures
– a speech therapist or OT requesting ways of building rapport and trust with their child clients

Counselling and Psychotherapy Supervision
Courtney plans to be able to offer Counselling and Psychotherapy supervision for beginning counsellors in 2026. Counsellors would ideally be working with person centered counselling as their primary treatment modality.

Training and Professional Development
Courtney is an experienced trainer and facilitator. Courtney can present customised training for allied health professionals, educators, school staff and people in parenting roles. Some of the of the subjects available include:
